Notes: Rio Moto is being established at this time by Scott Nelson from Bentley’s Big Adventure to cater primarily to overland motorcyclists. While we stayed bathrooms, showers, and kitchen were all under construction. We used Scott’s house. It is a stunning location outside (12-miles) Vilcabamba along a river with amazing views. There are tent pads where you can also drive your motorcycle and park next to your tent. The climate in this valley is dryer and warmer then all the surrounding areas. It is a very comfortable place to camp.
